How to change the name of the processor permanently :

Today I will tell you how you can change the name of the processor
follow my steps.


Step 1. First you connect to your registry editor (Start -> Run -> regedit Type)
Step 2. Go to the next option.

... HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ HARDWARE\ DISCRIPTION \ System \ CentralProcessor \
or
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ HARDWARE\ DISCRIPTION \ System \ CentralProcessor \ 0 \
or
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ HARDWARE\ DISCRIPTION \ System \ CentralProcessor \ 1 \



Step 3. Now Find a key named "ProcessorNameString"
Step 4. Click the right button and select Modify and change the value data to suit you.
                   (example: Core 2 Duo).


Now you can see your changes in the system of property
(Right click on My Computer, select Properties icon and
Now you can see a new processor
